The 401(k) market has rapidly changed. Is your plan up to date? Since 2012, there have been significant changes in 401(k)s which have created new risks and opportunities for small and midsized business 401(k) plans. With this rapid pace of change, many business owners, and even some small advisors and recordkeepers have not been able to keep up. For midsize firms around the world with 100 to 999 employees, advanced technology plays an increasingly important role in business success. Companies have been adding cloud resources to supplement on-premise server, storage, and networking capabilities. At the same time, growth of mobile and remote workers is also changing how companies need to support workers to allow them to be as productive as possible. Like larger companies, midsize firms must make sure that they are effectively coordinating on-premise, public cloud, and private cloud capabilities. Unlike large companies, though, midsize firms are limited in both financial and technical resources to design and coordinate effective solutions to meet specific needs. Rather than invest in a major overhaul of their IT environments, midsize firms have to move incrementally, supplementing current resources with new cloud and on-premise capabilities that provide the performance needed to prosper in an increasingly competitive environment.

Hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) is becoming a popular architecture choice, particularly for businesses consolidating infrastructure as part of a hybrid IT strategy to extend compute and storage resources outside the enterprise. At its current level of progress, HCI could soon become a foundation layer for the next generation of infrastructure at enterprises, midsized companies and remote deployments. Hybrid cloud is the next frontier for HCI, with most players looking to develop cloud orchestration and workload-migration capabilities to become hybrid cloud enablers for enterprises and service providers. Today, many organizations still have questions and uncertainty about HCI: What are the most effective uses of HCI today and in the future? Who benefits from HCI, and who doesn’t? What enterprise infrastructure challenges could be solved with HCI? This report will provide data and analysis to provide perspective on how the HCI market could be evolving, and to better understand

Midsize Aerospace and Aviation manufacturers need to choose a system that quickly delivers the core capabilities they need to streamline product development but also gives them room to grow value over time. Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software can help. It drives better product development performance by managing product-related data, processes and projects. While smaller companies may be able to control, access and share product data with relatively simple Product Data Management (PDM) tools, larger manufacturers rely on full featured PLM systems that help automate processes and share data across global Aerospace and Aviation companies.
